Readers---Say "hello" to my new dog, Mr. Browse!		 Dear Andy,

My grandmother missed my birthday party again this year. She also missed Christmas, Easter, my winning soccer kick at the final game and a bunch of other things.  She just wants to gamble and it makes me want to cry because I miss her and all the things we used to do together.  Before Grandpa died, she wouldn't miss any family stuff.  Please tell me what to do.

Gather up all your courage and tell her just what you told me.  A message of love goes right to the heart.  No one can change another person and don't blame yourself.  You may also want to tell her that, if she wants help to quit, it's available.  Please let me know what happens.
